MONDAY, APRIL 20, 2026 Statutorily an individual must complete one year on supervision before being considered for early termination. The District of Idaho will consider early termination on a case-by-case basis. Factors considered are compliance with supervision, any court ordered conditions not satisfied, special assessment/fine/restitution that remains outstanding, and length of time on supervision. After the first year of supervision an individual is free to contact their attorney and pursue early termination without the assistance of probation.
