CJA Plan, District of Idaho
Updated on Jan 10, 2019
Pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act of 1964, as amended, (CJA), section 3006A of Title 18, United States Code, and the Guidelines for the Administration of the Criminal Justice Act, Volume VII, Guide to Judicial Policies and Procedures (CJA Guidelines), the judges of the United States District Court for the District of Idaho have adopted a plan, General Order 335, for furnishing representation in federal court for any person financially unable to obtain adequate representation in accordance with the CJA.
The District of Idaho has developed a CJA Manual to provide a resource to assist the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) court-appointed attorney with administrative duties related to the court appointment.
Each panel attorney is referred to the Criminal Justice Act Plan for the District of Idaho, which is on file in the U.S. Clerk's Office.
