District of Idaho

The District of Idaho is pleased to announce two in-person bench bar conferences again this year:  October 20, 2023, at Boise Centre in Boise and November 3, 2023, at the Coeur d'Alene Inn in Coeur d'Alene.  This year's theme is "Changes All Around:  Judges, Rules, Law, and Technology at the District of Idaho."  Join us at either conference location to see what's new in the District!

Our conferences this year will feature exciting sessions on topics including admissibility under FRE 702 and the use of expert witnesses, the ethical considerations surrounding the use of artificial intelligence in the practice of law, and breakout sessions on search and seizures of technology and changes to federal employment law.  We'll also feature all-women panels at both conferences who will field questions on the changing face of law in Idaho and a "fireside chat" with Idaho native and Solicitor General of the United States Elizabeth Prelogar.  We'll wrap up both conferences with our traditional judicial panel, where attendees have the ability to ask questions of our Idaho federal judges during the registration process.  6.75 hours of MCLE is pending.
