VCIS is a court service which allows anyone to dial directly into the Court's Bankruptcy database by calling (208) 334-9386 using a touchtone telephone. Available information includes:

Case number
Chapter
Filing date
Debtor's name/principal adversaries
Debtor's attorney
Trustee
Judge
Date and location of first meeting
Discharge and closing dates
Status of assets
Last date to file proof of claims

This system includes information on Bankruptcy cases filed since September 17, 1990 and all those pending as of that date. If the desired information is not obtained the caller is given the opportunity to transfer to an operator.
