Nancy A. Baskin has been employed with the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho since 1993. She is a career staff attorney for the Honorable Edward J. Lodge, United States District Judge. Prior to clerking for Judge Lodge, Nancy was in private practice with the law firm of Givens Pursley. She completed her undergraduate work at the University in Idaho with degrees in Business and Political Science. Nancy worked for Boise Cascade Corporation five years prior to returning to law school at the University of Idaho where she graduated summa cum laude in 1991 and served as the managing editor of the Idaho Law Review. Additionally, she has also earned a Masters in Business Administration from Boise State University. Her husband, Tom, is a lawyer in private practice, but she hopes neither of her two sons actually become lawyers!
