In the Valley of Bankruptcy - Fear no Evil    (1 hour)

         This presentation will focus on issues litigants may face in the event one of their parties files a bankruptcy proceeding, including the standing of the bankruptcy trustee in the litigation, as well as how professionals that represent the litigating bankruptcy estate get paid. The presenters will also discuss how to obtain approval from the bankruptcy court of a settlement, issues of subrogation and payment of claims as part of that settlement.
