Documents Filed In Error

A document incorrectly filed in a case may result because you have:

(a) posted the wrong PDF file to a docket entry;
(b) selected the wrong event type from the menu; or
(c) posted the document into the wrong case number.

Documents filed in error must be immediately reported to the Clerk's Office so corrective action can be taken.
You will need to provide the case and document number of the document requiring correction.
The ECF system does not permit external users to edit document(s) or correct a docket entry after the transaction has been accepted.

When a Corrective Entry is made by the court, a Notice of Electronic Filing (NEF) will be sent to all parties indicating what the correction is. This Corrective Entry is also posted on the case docket for future reference in the case.
