Instruction

The judge presiding over the trial and the court staff will give you guidance on what to consider while hearing a case as a juror. He or she will tell you about the claims or charges being made and will instruct you on how to reach a decision based on the evidence. The judge will explain the law and the degree of proof needed to make a decision.
